Ringers are a bunch of people with a shared passion for the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

The Ringers forum is the online equivalent of the Pistenklause: a place to chew the breeze with fellow addicts.

The Ringers forum started life as an email list in 1998, and is now a web forum with full two-way email access.

You can choose whether to access it via the web, via email or any mix of the two.

There are three main boards:
Ring-related: for strictly on-topic posts about the Ring
Non-Ring Petrolhead: for general car/bike chat
Chat: for off-topic chat, banter, jokes, etc
(There are also additional boards for photo requests, help and test posts.)

For email access, you can choose to subscribe to any one or more boards. For example, if you only want on-topic emails, just subscribe to the Ring-related board.

Please note that you MUST register with your real name in the format Firstname Lastname (with a space between the two). The reason for this is that we get tonnes of spammers attempting automated registrations - to prevent that, I approve/reject all registrations, and I need a simple way to see at a glance whether a registration is genuine. Spammers all use handles rather than two names. It also prevents reduces the likelihood of idiotic posts - people are much less willing to be silly when they can't hide behind the anonymity of a handle.

If you ignore the above, you will NOT be able to re-use your email address to register with the forum, so will need to use a different email address.

Once you have registered, you have the option of making a donation. Those who have made a donation get a Ringers tag on their usernames.
