The ADAC Zurich 24hr race runs 4pm CET Saturday 21st June to 4pm Sunday 22nd. The race uses the combined Nordschleife and Grand Prix track. There are 175 cars on the entry list, ranging from the SP9 GT3 class (from which the winner is expected), to historic racers such as a 1980s Opel Manta.
In 2013 the Black Falcon team won with a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. The year before that Phoenix Racing won with an Audi R8 LMS Ultra. In 2011 Manthey Racing won with a Porsche 997 GT3 RSR. All three teams are based at the Nurburgring and are regular N24 entrants, and Manthey comes straight from Le Mans last week, where it came third in the GT Pro class with a 911 RSR.
